Set up a store that can take orders from day one.
Why WordPress
WordPress is free, widely documented and easy to hand over. WooCommerce turns it into a shop.
Hosting
For a UF company a small shared host is enough to start. If you expect traffic spikes, look at a VPS instead.
Essential plugins
- WooCommerce for products and checkout.
- A Swedish payment gateway, for example Klarna, Swish or Billmate.
- A caching plugin to keep the site fast.
Before launch
- Test the full checkout flow.
- Set terms and conditions.
- Configure tax settings for Swedish VAT.
